cranberry juice
That's about it. Can I make something like mashed potatos, but with carrots? Carrots are a root thing like potatos, right?
Anyway, I've been making tin foil dinners with the ground beef and carrots and stealing some of my roommate's onion salt. It hasn't been too bad, other than I've messed up de-frosting the meat sometimes so it turns out really tough (but still edible). One of my new year's resolutions was to spend more time learning to cook, but then I went to the store and realized how expensive spices are- I didn't even want to know how expensive all the OTHER little things were! Seems like all recipes call for "a little of this" or "a little of that", but when you have to buy "this" and "that", even a little bit of it ends up costing tons of money!! So, all you who are/ were poor married couples, please help out your single sister with some how-to's. Thanks!! Love you tons!

um when I was a poor single student, I worked at a preschool where breakfast and lunch was provided. That probably kept me alive since I couldn't afford much food either. I only had to fend for dinner. I ate a lot of mac& cheese and other pasta. Cereal is good too.you could spend $10 making a lasagna and it would be enough to last a week or freeze some for later meals.meatloaf is cheap and easy. you've already got meat and eggs and bread and carrots. you just need some bbq sauce or ketchup and some seasoning. Italian seasoning is great and is cheap at walmart. I'll continue working on some ideas and email them to you.
Thanks Mel!! Muchas gracias, big time! :)
you can make some Lentil soup.
